RJ Murray Returns Policy

New - Not Used Parts & Equipment

Any normally stocked part, (within normal quantities) can be returned at any time with no restocking charges. Items must be returned in new condition (unused) and in the original package, with all packaging. If any items were sent out prepaid and allowed, then outbound freight charges will be deducted from the credit.

Any special-ordered items must first have prior approval, before any return is made. All requests will be forwarded to the appropriate Vendor. Upon notification from the Vendor, we will forward the details (shipping address and amount of restocking charges), which will apply.

Defective (In-Warranty) Returns

All defective in-warranty parts and compressors, which are designated to be returned, must be returned to 7 Northway Lane with freight prepaid, unless otherwise instructed.

NOTE: Not all items in warranty are to be returned. Please check with customer service/warranty administration for any clarification.

All returns must be accompanied by a completed Service Credit Application (SCA). Complete model and serial number, and installation date are required.

All SCAs must be returned to R.J. Murray Co., within 30 days of the repair. Returns, after 30 days are subject to penalties of at least 10%.


Hermetic Compressors

Please read these important notices for all dealers and contractors when returning and shipping compressors to make sure your claim is not denied.

All semi-hermetic compressors must be returned on a pallet with suction and discharge ports sealed. (Plates come on the new compressor).

All hermetic compressors must be returned crimped and saved. The suction and discharge tubes MUST remain on the compressor. DO NOT CUT THEM OFF. Any tubes, which have been cut off render the compressor ineligible for credit.

Any parts or compressors, which are returned not properly sealed, on pallets, or without a properly filled out SCA, will be returned to you, freight collect, with no credit being issued.

Failure to comply with these policies will result in either partial credit or no credit at all.
